A booking will not constitute a legal contract until it has been confirmed in writing (or email) by the hotel and any deposit requested by the hotel has been received and a receipt issued to the client.

Consequently, unconfirmed bookings are not guaranteed. Bookings made through the online booking systems ARE confirmed bookings as long as the required deposit has been received and acknowledged.

Please note that the Hotel cannot be liable for any failure to provide facilities and services as a result of events or matters outside its control (force majeure).

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of £30.00 per person, per stay is required, within 7 days of booking, to confirm the reservation and this deposit will be deducted from the final invoice issued on departure. In the event of accommodation being sold to a third party prior to the receipt of the deposit, the money will be refunded.

Cancellations

For your protection you are advised to insure against eventualities which may prevent you from taking up the offered accommodation. We have arranged for a special holiday cancellation scheme, which we strongly recommend you take advantage of cancellation insurance. Please ring for information.

Your liability should a cancellation be unavoidable is:

Up to 28 days before arrival Loss of deposit

Up to day of arrival Two thirds of confirmed price of stay

Day of arrival Total cost of confirmed price of stay

Cancellations should be made in the first instance by telephone, and then confirmed in writing.

Under certain circumstances, and at the total discretion of the Management, the guest may be able to have the paid monies allocated against newly arranged dates.

Allowances

No allowance can be made for meals not taken, temporary absence or if departure is made before the end of period booked.

Payments

Full payment of the outstanding invoice must be made prior to departure, unless a previous arrangement for a credit account has been agreed in writing.

Cheques

If the cheque is not covered by a valid bankers card, four working days are needed for payment to be cleared into the hotel’s bank account.

Credit Cards

All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Trade Credit

Trade credit facilities can be provided but must be arranged at least 14 days prior to commencement of stay. Please note that two satisfactory trade references are required as well as a bank referee.

Arrival

 Accommodation is available from 2:00pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure, unless specific arrangements have been agreed in writing.

Property

The hotel cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to guest’s property and guests are advised that any valuables should be handed into the hotel Reception for safe-keeping and a receipt obtained.

Car Parking

The hotel offers car parking facilities to its guests but vehicles and the contents thereof are parked entirely at the owners’ risk

Corkage

Please note that we do not encourage guests to bring liquor into the hotel and we reserve the right to charge corkage.

Alcohol

The Management reserve the right to request to see age identification for any guest purchasing alcohol in the hotel.

Misconduct

Should any guest be unable to correct any aspect of poor or unacceptable behaviour, as determined by the Management, we reserve the right to ask the guest to leave the premises. Guests will be required however to settle the total accommodation stay invoice along with any extras already consumed.

Damages

The Management reserve the right to ask guests for reimbursements in full for any damage caused to the property, contents or grounds arising from negligence or malicious acts by those guests
